Privacy Policy
This policy explains how RedAnalytica ("we") handles your data when you use Reelsmith.video.
1. What we collect
- Account data: name, email, hashed password.
- Uploaded media: the video/audio you upload and the rendered outputs we create.
- Derived data: transcripts, scene/edit metadata generated during processing.
- Usage data: projects, minutes used, logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Payment data: handled by our payment provider; we do not store card details.
2. How we use it
To provide and improve the Service, process your videos, operate billing and quotas, send transactional email (verification, password reset, render-ready, invites), prevent abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell your data or use your content to train AI models.
3. Sub-processors
We share data with vetted providers only to deliver the Service:
- Cloud hosting & storage (application servers, object storage/CDN)
- Transcription provider (audio to text)
- AI model provider (edit-plan generation)
- Payments provider (subscriptions; merchant of record)
- Email provider (transactional email)
These providers may process data outside India under appropriate safeguards.
4. Retention & deletion
We keep your content while your account is active. You can delete projects in-app; deleting your account removes your personal data and media within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Email us to request deletion.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed; sessions are signed and revocable; uploads/downloads use private storage with time-limited signed URLs; access is scoped per workspace. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent, by contacting us. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use an essential, httpOnly session cookie for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your data. We also use privacy-friendly, first-party product analytics (PostHog), served through our own domain, to understand traffic and how the product is used. When you are signed in, this usage (for example which pages you visit and key actions) is associated with your account so we can improve your experience and support you; your email is stored only as an account property, not used for advertising, and never shared for cross-site tracking. We do not record your session. You can decline analytics from the cookie notice at any time, which opts you out immediately.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age required to consent in your jurisdiction.
